Use all of your brain to be your most effective."Running on Automatic" is what I call the ability to visualize what you need to have happen. Automatic because the part of your brain that gives us most of our solutions is working all the time. When you are asleep or not. Most of us call it our subconscience. This part of your brain is processing what your awake aware or cognitive part of the brain is telling it is going on. Our subconscience is not aware of any rational or philosophical system. It just helps us process the stuff we see, feel, smell, taste and hear. It is the core of our intuition. And most of all it can be exercised and controlled. When we understand how to feed our subconscious so it will work out our problems and help us get to where we need to be there is nothing you can't achieve. Didn't your mother tell you "There's nothing you can't do, if you just set your mind to it." Listen to your mother, she was right. In fact she gave you the best advice you will ever get about how to get ahead in this world. If you can see it, you can do it.Now you say 'Andrew, that sounds all fine and good, but have you ever got this thinking stuff to work?'"Yes I have!" In fact the reality of this web site is the result of my imagining what could be done and then seeing all the parts in place and how they will fit together. At this time it is not complete, but I know what I want to see in place and how I will get it done. It is something I did with my brain, but the results will be with my hands.Limber Up The NeuronsLet's do a very simple exercise so you can try it out for yourself. Look around the room you are in. Find something that someone made. Take a wooden chair for instance. Go back in your mind and see the tree that was growing in the forest. All green and beautiful. A trunk straight and tall. Then a lumberjack comes along with his or her chain saw and goes about cutting it down. Later a large piece of equipment comes along and gathers up the tree trunk that has been trimmed to a log and takes it to a lumber mill. At the mill the tree is cut into boards with a huge circular saw sorted, stacked, graded and finally the boards are placed in a kiln to dry the wood.Heated steam dries the wood and then it is taken out, packaged by grade and then shipped to a furniture maker. At the furniture factory there are people who receive the materials from the trucking company that brought the wood to them and then again the lumber is inspected, sorted and then each piece goes through a manufacturing process. The legs, back, bottom supports, and back slats are all made by individual workers. At the end all the pieces come together and a worker assembles the parts and gets the chair ready to be finished.Another worker applies the finish coats of varnish or paint to preserve and bring out the beauty of the chair design. Finally the chair is packaged, put on another truck and shipped to a furniture store where you see it and think, 'That would look great in our living room. Let's get it and have it for this evening.'You might not have ever imagined all that about your chair. But something similar did happen to make that chair appear in your home. Relax and go back over each step as you see it happen in your mind. In a little while you will see each of the machines that you imagine created the chair and finally you will see the truck that brought the chair to your house.Practice...Practice...PracticeTry this exercise for three or four days in a row and see if it doesn't get more real each time you do it. As you do the reality of the chair becomes something that you can believe in more and more. Just as the chair becomes more vibrant and real in your mind. Any other thought can do the same. A famous 19th century scientist Nikola Telsa the inventor of the "telsa coil" that makes your hair stand on end with static electricity, once said he made no invention without first seeing the entirety of his experiment in his mind working as he knew it would. Mr. Telsa knew the power of using his mind to work out the problems he sought to solve. He actively employed his conscious and subconscious mind to solve these problems by seeing them as final solutions before he ever tried to perform any of the work for the project. Now that's mental power. But all of us have the same capability. All we have to do to make it work is to use our minds regularly and purposefully.Write and let me know how you are coming along. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.In the next segment I'll share the secret to focused thought. How to keep our thoughts on track. Until then, don't just sit there...Let's Get Started!Andrew AbernathyFounder, Put It iN Thought.

Hangouts?, the company which has been supplying hammocks and hanging chairs to the U.S., Canadian, and overseas markets since the mid '80s, has introduced a new double sized Backpacker's Dream model weighing less than a pound. This model expands the line of backpacker models which include the single Backpacker's Dream hammock, weighing 12 ounces and the Backpacker Hanging Chair which also weighs 12 ounces without the spreader bar. The Dream double is nearly twice the width of the single. The main lines of hammocks and hanging chairs sold by Hangouts? are the Mayan and Brazilian Hammock Designs which offer the ultimate in comfort. The new backpacker model is produced for Hangouts? in Brazil by skilled craftsman who have been making hammocks by hand most of their lives. Actually, hammocks are beds used in third world countries, and approximately 100 million people from third world countries sleep in hammocks. The world's best hammocks sold by Hangouts? are made in Central and South America. There are many benefits that the best hammocks, Mayan and Brazilian designs, provide. A good hammock is a therapeutic device, but yet a fun piece of furniture. It provides the user a fun way of relaxing. It's a simple way of treating a person's body well, releasing muscle tension and relaxing the mind. People with back, neck, hip or shoulder problems experience quick relief and they can benefit from repeated use, since there are no pressure points and muscles can relax and blood flow is unimpeded to all areas of the body. The stimulating swinging motion is what babies and adults love, and the hammocks (swinging) and hanging chairs (swinging & spinning motion) can be used to treat Autistic children. A hammock can be used inside a home or outside in a yard or while camping or traveling. A hammock is a piece of furniture. In fact, there are approximately 100 million people, most living in third world countries, who use hammocks as beds and furniture inside their homes. A hammock is a space saving piece of furniture which can be taken down during the day and hung up at night for sleeping. Many third world families are large and live in small living spaces. So the hammocks allow a sizable family to sleep in one room. The space saving attribute also applies to homes of peoples who live in North America and Europe and can enhance a bedroom, living room, or family room. Although hammocks are beds they also can make great substitutes or complements for a sofa. A hammock chair (hanging chair) can be used as desk chair or computer chair, to break the monotony of sitting for long periods. The chairs and hammocks also make great porch swings. Now it is springtime and springtime is hammock time. People think of hammocks and relaxing in the fresh outdoor air. A hammock is a great place to view a garden or enjoy a view from a deck, relax in the woods, or hangout on a beach and catch some rays. Hammock time is camping time ? it is picnicking time ? it is happy time ? it is take a break from the world time. Mayan and Brazilian hammocks are compact when folded and can be stored easily in a closet and will take up very little space in a car trunk when traveling or camping. They keep a person off the ground and will elevate the enjoyment of the outdoor environment. Hangouts? Mayan and Brazilian hammocks and hanging chairs are made by hand on looms, without the use of electricity. Thus their production does not burden the world with higher energy consumption. Although this macro benefit may not make a huge contribution to reducing energy consumption it is a step in the right direction. Another aspect to reducing the world's depletion of resources of wood is that the amount of materials used to make a hammock which can be used as a bed is a fraction of the materials used in a bed. For example, a good comfortable sleeping hammock can weigh 3 to 5 pounds. A bed can weigh 100 or 200 pounds, including the frame, mattress and springs. Just assume the wood weighs 100 pounds, the steel used weighs 50 pounds and the cotton and other materials 20 to 50 pounds. If many more people used hammocks as a bed then thousands of trees would be saved. The demand of steel would be reduced by thousands of tons. The trees and iron in the ground are scarce commodities and are being depleted and this would benefit the conservation of these commodities.Every individual who uses Hangouts? Hammocks and Hanging Chairs is step closer to a peaceful state of mind and this is a benefit to the world. Just think if everyone used a Mayan or Brazilian hammock the world would be a more peaceful place. Hangouts? and its founders have been working with hammocks for 25 years. They distribute their hammocks through mail order, web site, retail, and wholesale. Their web-site is www.HANGOUTS.com. Their phone is 1-800-HANGOUT or 303-442-2533 and they have a retail shop at 1328 Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado. It is a special treat to visit the Hangouts? Shop and experience the many wonderful hammocks and hanging chairs which are hung for customers to try.Media Contact:David Jones303-442-2533.

If you just love that rustic look, and are finally ready to finally buy log furniture for your home, there are a number of "rules of thumb" that can help you in making good choices.Begin by considering the overall style of your home. Do you have a log home that is overwhelmingly rustic? Or are you seeking to add a rustic touch to one or more rooms of a more conventional home?Size is EverythingHomes that feature large logs, spacious ceilings or are roomy in general require a different flavor of rustic furniture than their more conventional counterparts. If large logs make up the walls of your room, or you have a fireplace made from monster rocks from Montana, you'll need a massive log look for your furniture as well. Otherwise, your log furniture will seem dwarfed and insignificant.Even if the home for your log furniture is a cabin with 8-inch logs, a few large pieces of furniture will look better than many small ones. Larger furniture makes a room feel full without being cluttered. If your bedroom has a high cathedral ceiling, a log canopy bed can help fill out the dimensions. There is also much you can do with artwork and lighting to make the best use of your space.Types of woodA variety of wood types are used to create rustic furniture. Following is an overview of several which are available on our website: Steam-bent HickoryHickory is a very durable, flexible wood. Many a child has climbed to the top of a green hickory sapling to ride it down as it yields to the weight without breaking. When heated with steam for a period of time, Hickory poles can easily be formed into various unique pieces of furniture. The steamed poles are placed in a jig and left to dry. They will become very rigid and retain this shape when dry. Steam-bent hickory is strong enough to be used for tools such as hammers and axes, and unpeeled hickory accounts for one of the best-selling lines of log furniture. The Amish use steam-bent hickory to make dining room chairs, as the legs for dining room tables, coffee tables, and rockers.Northern White CedarNorthern White Cedar grows in Northern Michigan and Canada. It withstands the abuse of seasonal elements without breaking down or rotting like other woods. It is a beautiful light tan color when freshly milled. It turns silvery-gray with age, but can be treated with a good quality finish to help retain its color. You will notice cracks- some small and some larger in your rustic furniture. This occurs naturally in the drying process and adds to the rustic look of our products. These cracks do not diminish the function or design of our furniture. They are not a manufacturing defect, just a natural part of seasoning, enhancing the beauty of the wood.Red CedarThe most surprising thing about Red Cedar (also know as Aromatic Cedar) is that it is not a member of the cedar family at all, instead belonging to the juniper family. Everyone knows the deep aromatic smell of the red cedar. The wood is heavy, and naturally insect and rot resistant. Clothes stored in a chest made of red cedar will be protected from moths. Red cedar has tight knots that add character and beauty. It is sometimes purple, but most often a brownish red that will in time become browner even when preserved. Furniture built with red cedar will last a long time and can definitely be handed down from generation to generation. Shopping for QualityNot all log furniture is created equal?no matter how stylish or comfortable it may be. The quality of the materials used in log furniture, and the craftsmanship employed, vary widely?and this is often reflected in the price. While there are always some bargains to be had, it is quite true that you get what you pay for in log furniture. With this thought in mind, buy the best furniture you can. It will look better and last longer if you do. In addition, look for all-wood or solid-wood furniture (as opposed to veneered plywood or particle boards). Solid wood furniture tends to show less wear at the joints and fittings, and also reacts better to seasonal moisture changes.Look for well-fitted, carefully crafted connections. Dove-tailed drawers are especially known for holding together well. If you want your furniture to be finished, look for a long-lasting, tough and evenly applied coating. A word to the wise: unless you are experienced in applying furniture finish, leave the finishing up to the furniture manufacturer. Choosing a Log Furniture StoreLet the buyer beware?there is a wide variety of customer service between log furniture stores. If you are looking to buy on line, look for a store where quality furniture and customer service are both top priorities. I have seen log furniture manufacturers and stores that always deliver late, and I have seen some who deliver on-time with shoddy quality. Look for testimonials on the site you are considering. Call and talk to a salesman at the log furniture store. A word to the wise?log furniture websites that merely drop ship log furniture have a lot less control over quality than those who building, finish and/or ship the furniture themselves. The ideal online log furniture store has many repeat customers who not only purchase again from their store, but recommend them to others. Quality stores are interested in more than a quick sale. They understand the value of delivering top-quality log furniture?furniture that will last a lifetime and add a truly rustic touch to your home..

Though it's wonderful to get all those hits to your e-commerce web site, hits don't mean much unless you convert them into sales. This is especially true if you are paying for, and not converting, clicks. If your website is suffering from the "Conversion Rate Blues", consider the following steps for improving sales and ultimately, profits:1. Make sure your website is optimized to attract people with the highest potential to buyWhen I first designed my log furniture website, Log Cabin Rustics, I unwittingly targeted an audience that wasn't the perfect one for my site. As things turned out, I didn't even rank for my two top key phrases, log furniture and log beds, in the search engines. I managed to get pretty high on the scale, however, for log cabin related searches. People who build log cabins are a target market of mine, since many of them eventually purchase log furniture to go with their home. The most likely immediate customers, however, are those who actually searched for the term "log furniture" rather than "log cabin". When I re-optimized my site for the search terms I thought would bring the highest conversion rate, visitors to my site were more likely to buy because my site was selling what they were searching for. My efforts paid off, when my conversion rate (and sales) doubled in the month or two following my changes.2. Add a personal, trustworthy touch to your siteI don't personally care to have my picture posted on the front of my website, although many people do. I do have my name prominently on the site, together with information about why I sell log furniture and my business background as a CPA. I have found that a personal touch goes a long way towards selling log furniture. Many of my customers spend $2,000, $3,000 or even $4,000 on their log furniture order, and some of them have waited years to get the furniture they want. They didn't find what they wanted in their local area (they must not have many white cedar trees in Texas), but they found it on my site. There's just one problem, however. They wish they could touch the furniture, slide the drawers in and out, look for drips in the finish, and generally evaluate the quality before the drop that kind of money. I have had people drive 4-6 hours to visit my store on more than one occasion for that very reason, and frankly, I don't blame them. I'm pretty picky about my furniture too. This is where I can help my customers. I use primarily local suppliers, and finished furniture that I sell is finished right in our building. I can and do inspect much of the furniture before it goes out. Our finishing department does a pretty good job, but if I see something I don't like, I have them sand it down and get it right. Some people I sell furniture to place their order online or with one phone call, but many of them talk to me several times before they place their order. They start to feel like they know me, and I start to feel like they are my friends. The last thing I want to do is ship a suite of log furniture from Michigan to Caifornia and have it come back because the customer isn't happy. And I don't want to let down my friends. When customers understand this, they trust me to deliver what my site promises, and that translates into sales. There are many ways you can build trust in your website. When I realized my conversion rate was not what it could or should be, I went out and researched the topic on the web. By reading a number of SEO articles on the topic, I came up with a checklist of things to do on my site. My list included:	giving name and contact information for the owner of the site	telling a personal history of the business	showing pictures of your factory, office, semi-truck or anything else that makes your business real. If possible, give an online office or factory tour. getting a secure security certificate and posting it on your site, and	posting a privacy policy, warranty information, and product testimonials3. Include a detailed FAQ on your siteA detailed FAQ that answers just about every conceivable question can do much to improve customer confidence in your site. Many people are quite methodical in their product research. They may be looking at my site at 3 in the morning, have a question, and want an answer NOW. Otherwise they will migrate on to a competitor who has both the information and product they are looking for.I am continually tracking the questions people ask and modifying my site to make sure it answers those questions. That way people can get answers to the most common questions right away, and I don't spend time answering the same questions over and over again. While a good FAQ is a great time-saver for the person who has to answer those questions, it also gives site users the impression that your site is well-thought-out, that you care about their questions and will take time to answer them thoroughly. You can build trust in your website by having relevant product-related content throughout the site as well, but there's nothing like a well-planned FAQ to assist in answering questions.4. Make Your Shopping Cart Easy to UseI've had a little trouble with my shopping cart from time to time. It seems that if I modify the header for my site, and put in a link that says "http:" instead of "https:", the secure part of my shopping cart pops up an error message with every click of the mouse. Take it from the voice of experience?this is not conducive to sales. If your sales are clicking right along, then suddenly drop into the abyss, it's a good idea to go out and place a test order. I'm embarrassed to say that in my busy-ness, I've had to have a customer inform me of how very difficult it was for them to place an order. Upon investigation, I have found several times that something had gone wrong on my site.In addition to making sure your shopping cart is fully functional and doesn't return error messages, it pays to have a shopping cart that is easy to use. I am not an affiliate for Clickbank, but whenever I buy an e-book from someone who is using their service, I am always impressed with how smooth and quick the online transaction is. There have been other times when I really wanted to purchase something, but some little glitch in the shopping cart wouldn't let me proceed with the order, and nearly drove me to distraction. As a customer I always think to myself, "if these people can't get their website to work, how do I know they can ship me an order?"As a webmaster or mistress, you certainly don't want to be on the receiving end of such thoughts?and you can prevent it by making sure your website shopping cart is easy to use, and testing it every now and again to make sure it's working properly.5. Give Free Shipping or Make a special offerThis might seem like a no-brainer, but it really does work. I used to give away a free rocking chair to anyone who bought a suite of log bedroom furniture, and you'd be surprised how many customers I had say to me "I just love the idea of getting something free!" At the moment, I give a 5% discount for the purchase of multiple items. That might not sound like much, but its $100 on a $2000 order and many people are glad to have it. I also include free shipping in the continental 48 states. This makes it much easier for people to know the exact cost of the furniture. I used to have people people contact me to see how much shipping would be, then I would estimate the cost of the furniture they wanted, contact several freight companies for a quote, re-contact the customer, etc. Free shipping makes everything so much easier, and it really seems to appeal to my customers too.In conclusionI'm sure there are other quality ways to build people's confidence in your site?thereby increasing both conversion rate and sales. Some of my friends have Better Business Bureau seal on their sites, or participate in BizRate or other rating services. I haven't tried any of these yet, so I can't speak for them. But I have learned from experience that people want to know you are a real person with a real business. They want to know that you care enough to answer their questions, they want a smooth shopping process, and they really do like special offers. In these days of security breaches and privacy concerns, many customers will need extra reassurance about the care you take in such matters. You can accomplish much in that direction by spelling out company policies on your site. If you think the conversion rate on your site could be better, why not make a to-do list of items mentioned in this article that might not be all they could be on your site. And oh yes, if you have a website selling "widgets" but the only people finding your site are those who are searching for "bridges", you really should change your keywords.Copyright 2005 Log Cabin Rustics.

I thought to myself that these were the best words a person could ever want to hear as a romantic Palm Springs weekend getaway is just beginning. After a hard day at work, and driving through the rainy desert evening listening to the local 80s radio station, I told myself that the skies over Palm Springs cleared for a reason. The skies allowed the hypnotic blinking lights on the massive windmills along the freeway to perpetually flash their alien Morse code saying one simple word loud and clear: R-E-L-A-X.Nestled within walking distance from the main drag in idyllic Palm Springs and very near the San Jacinto Mountains is an upscale Spanish mission that is easy to get used to. The Andalusian Court feels like a soft chenille sweater or a pair of blue jeans that fits just right. This newly renovated luxury suite villa resort has only seven units, but, they are exquisite. Each very well decorated 700 square foot fully furnished villa has everything you could need to unwind and find yourself again. Whether it's the eclectic interior design where each piece of furniture or artwork was hand chosen by the owner of the resort, or the curvilinear fireplace in the bedroom, you know that this place is serious about aesthetics and function. The rounded arches of the rooflines draped in mission-style ceramic tile roofing further enhance the Spanish tiles that are gracefully set in the stuccoed walls between the interspersed highly decorative and colorful plates. This gorgeous Spanish revival inn draws you in and transports you back in time to another part of the globe. Winding bougainvillea covered stamped pathways lead to secluded garden areas where a bench is placed for your contemplation and enjoyment of the surroundings. A beautiful in-ground pool and spa is the centerpiece of the courtyard where a huge gecko-adorned outdoor grill and BBQ area are set up for guests to happily use and enjoy day or night. You can soak up the desert sun lounging on a recliner or float dreamily in the pool gazing at the San Jacinto Mountains or just admiring the gracious two-story bell tower with its mission architecture.Don't worry, there's plenty of parking up front just off the street, and the entire villa compound gives a very comforting feeling of serenity and peacefulness. How about afternoon tea and hors d'oeuvres after a hard day playing tennis or golfing? Want more of a work out? Try their on site exercise facility with, among other things, a treadmill and exercise bike and steam room. Lastly, the toasty evening fires in the numerous fire pits scattered throughout the gardens on the resort's grounds take the desert chill out of the air. They also give a primal feeling that is balanced by the daytime water elements. All in all, the overwhelming vibe at the Andalusian Court is a soothing calm that again reinforced our weekend motto: R-E-L-A-X.Our villa had a sturdy solid rough finished wood door to greet you as you entered the gate into our private bougainvillea and ivy-covered courtyard. I kept expecting to see small lizards scurrying to and fro and climbing the white stucco covered patio walls. Oh well, no luck in spotting any lizards bigger than the one on the pool BBQ.To read this entire feature FREE with photos cut and paste this link:http://www.jetsettersmagazine.com/archive/jetezine/hotels/calif/andy/andy.html, Jetsetters Magazine Correspondent?

Five Tips to Reduce Environmental StressBy Life is stressful enough without allowing the physicalenvironment - air quality, lighting, noise, and othercontrollable factors - to intensify day-to-day stress.Especially in the Fall and Winter is where you experience lessdaylight and more mood swings. The great thing about environmental stress is that in mostcases we can control what is in our environment that is causingthe stress. Take these five steps to eliminate environmentalstressors that might cause stress and tension in your work andhome life.1. Increase your activities during natural light. Natural light elevates the mood and helps maintain a regularinternal body "clock". Especially during the fall and winter weexperience a substantial decrease in natural daylight. Ifyou're indoors, try working next to a window and allow as muchsunlight as possible to enter your space. If you work in anoffice without windows try buying a natural sunlight lamp(http://www.wackyplanet.com/natsunlam.html). These lamps canhelp with Seasonal Affective Disorders as they provide a naturalsunlight spectrum for health and well being. Prolonged exposureto artificial lighting in any setting can be an environmentalstressor.2. Ban tobacco smoke. Constant exposure to tobacco smoke and its toxins can be apersistent environmental stressor and lead to respiratoryproblems and other symptoms.3. Evaluate your furniture arrangement. Arrange your furniture so that you don't feel cramped. Remember you are more productive in a relaxed environment. Also, is your furniture arranged so that you inviting constantinterruptions from visitors? If you can, move your furniturefrom the line of sight of potential visitors so that you canfocus better, accomplish your goals, and decrease stress.4. Frequently Change Your Ventilation or Air Filters.Your office or home is full of ingredients found incleaning supplies, upholstery, carpeting, adhesives, and inchemicals. Devices such as copy machines, printers andcomputers all contribute to poor air quality. Combine that withworking in an office building where you can't open windows itmakes the situation ten times worst for the occupants. Inextreme cases, individuals may become physically ill from thesepollutants, and even moderate doses can cause coughing, ascratchy, burning throat, and other symptoms. If you are concerned about poor air quality in the office speakwith the building maintenance crew and see how often they changethe air filters. In most cases, if you explain in a friendly mannerwhy you are concerned they will make an extra effort to changeat least the filter in your area. Also you can buy a personalair filtration kit at any appliance store to make your lifeeasier. Open windows At home to allow air circulation. Alsofrequently change your home air filter.5. "Bring the Green In."This is a term my wife, Joy Fisher-Sykes, uses to say thatnatural colors make us more relaxed. Color has effect on yourmood and energy level. It is generally agreed that blue andgreen are very relaxing colors. On a personal basis these mightnot be the colors that relax you. You decide on the amount ofcolor you're comfortable with and the shades that most appeal toyou. For example, bright yellow would tend to irritate me it maywork just fine for others because of its brightness. Experimentwith colors that will work to minimize stress for you.Remember, these are all environmental factor that you canchange to work for you. Just recognize what works for you andtake the first steps to decrease stress..

"So What's All The Fuss About Working From Home Anyway?"? - All Rights reservedhttp://www.cruise2success.comPicture this. It's the middle of January. It's 20 below outside and it's snowing. At 6 o'clock the alarm goes off. The start of a brand new day.You crawl out of bed and try to rush around getting ready and getting your stuff together: you have to be at work by 7 am. Outside you go. Your car is covered in snow (Your Wife's car has "garage privileges"). Grumbling, you clear the snow off the car, climb in and start it up. (Hopefully it DOES start) You sit there for a moment, shivering, and?think to yourself "Why me, Lord?"Now picture this. It's still the middle of January, cold and snowy outside. But this time your alarm doesn't go off. Now it doesn't have to. You gradually come to, look over at the clock and see that it's 8 am. You're well rested so you get up and take a peek outside. Other people are preparing to battle their way to work through the traffic and snow. But not you. Now you don't have to. You, my friend, are now making a comfortable living working from home. So, you go into your home office and turn on your computer. Maybe wander into the kitchen to grab a coffee while it boots up. You check your email and get that warm satisfied feeling. You sold more products. More people have signed up for your affiliate programs and your newsletter. All of this while you were fast asleep in bed!You take that good feeling with you and jump into the shower. Maybe we'll go out for breakfast if this snow clears up.Later, back in front of your computer, you do what you need to do to keep your business running smoothly. Work on the next edition of your newsletter, order some ezine ads. work on your latest article, answer your emails etc.OK. So I know that first scenario was maybe an extreme case, but this IS the case for thousands upon thousands of people who have to suffer through cold snowy winters. But even if you are fortunate enough to live in a warmer climate, wouldn't it be so much nicer to savor that first cup of coffee (or tea!) on your deck or patio rather than gulping it down on your way to work?Listen; maybe you're one of the fortunate few who enjoy their job. If so, then good for you. My Father was like that. If he had lived in this day and age with his marketing talents, then who knows what he may have achieved. The point is that it doesn't matter whether you love your job or, like the vast majority of folks, hate it. Working from home in your own internet business is certainly worth some very serious thought. And even if you do like your job where does it really get you? You work hard and get raises, maybe a promotion. Which probably results in more stress and high blood pressure. Ah, but don't forget you still get your 3 or 4 weeks annual vacation ;-) And all this time you are putting more money in your boss's pockets - a LOT more than in yours!Of course, this lifestyle isn't for everyone. Heck, if it were, the economy would collapse! It takes hard work, dedication and determination -especially in the early stages when you are getting set up and established. Plus don't forget that it is a Business with a capital 'B', not?just "playing on the computer and surfing the internet" as a lot of people think. At the end of the day of course, the choice is entirely yours. Do you REALLY want to carry on as you are or do you want the freedom (financial and, more importantly time) that running your own business can bring?Yes, maybe you will have setbacks and a few failures along the way. But you will learn from these. And nothing will give you greater satisfaction than one day to be able to say "Look at me, I'm a successful Internet Marketer."The only question now is how to get started on this road to financial freedom and success.---------------------------------------------------- publishes a monthly newsletter "The Cruise Marketing Digest" His newsletter, like his articles aim to give advice and encouragement to people new (and not so new) to Internet Marketing.Check out his website at http://www.cruise2success.com and sign up for his newsletter.
(ContentDesk) August 13, 2005 -- Chicago real estate is one of the greatest success stories of the recent boom in property prices. With low, low mortgage rates for Chicago home (http://www.bestchicagomortgage.com/mortgage-calc.html) mortgage loans, demand for real estate is going through the roof as people rush to snap up great homes on the beautiful Chicago lakefront, as well as in Chicago's many attractive suburbs.More than 8 million people now reside in the "Windy City." One of the few Midwest cities in the last decade to increase in population, Chicago may be well on its way to satiation. There are so few homes available that folks who want to buy Chicago real estate are getting in ahead of the crowd by purchasing pre-construction. Many pre-construction opportunities are available in Chicago real estate.Chicago Suburbs Real Estate Pre-Construction in the Chicago suburb of Palos Hills, 17 different pre-construction properties are available. You can, for example, purchase a 2600 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse for $347,700.While it's too early in the construction process to offer a photo, many features and details are now available online. Each of the townhouses in the development will have a full basement and an eat-in kitchen with doors leading out to the patio. The very larger master suite (20x19) has a walk-in closet and bath. This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath unit will be ready in December and will include spacious bedrooms (the two smallest are still 14x10), a basement and granite counter tops with stainless steel sinks in its 13x11 kitchen.
